Inclusive browsing

Accessibility

We want MemeWire to be usable with different devices, input methods, and assistive technologies. The site supports responsive layouts, keyboard-accessible links, and text-based category navigation.

Images and alternatives

Memes are primarily visual and may contain embedded text. Some image descriptions are generic and may not fully communicate the joke to screen-reader users. Improving descriptive alternatives is an ongoing accessibility priority.

Navigation

You can navigate between the main feed, categories, and information pages using standard links. Browser zoom and system text settings may help with readability.

Known limitations

Image-based humor is difficult to convey without detailed descriptions, and some older posts may not have sufficient alternative text. We aim to improve this as publishing tools evolve.
