The Weeknd Breaks Record For Highest-Grossing Tour By A Male Artist With $1.3 Billion

The Weeknd has set a new record for the highest-grossing tour ever by a male artist, with his global stadium tour passing $1.3 billion in ticket sales. The milestone puts the Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, at the top of the all-time touring charts among male solo acts, a mark built on sold-out stadium runs around the world. The record reflects both the scale of modern stadium touring and the singer's staying power as a live draw more than a decade into his career, with audiences turning out in huge numbers night after night.
