Toni Collette to Lead Apple TV Dramedy 'Lenni' Based on Norwegian Show

Australian actress Toni Collette is set to star in Lenni, a new Apple TV dramedy adapted from a Norwegian television format. The casting puts a well-known film and television lead at the center of Apple's latest international adaptation, bringing a proven dramatic and comedic performer to a series built around a Norwegian original. International formats have become a steady pipeline for streaming services looking for stories with an existing track record, and Lenni follows that pattern by reworking a Norwegian show for a global English-language audience. The project adds to Apple TV's growing slate of prestige dramedies and gives Collette another leading television role. Source: Variety, November 4, 2026.
